A qualified and registered architect in both Zimbabwe and South Africa, David has been a member of the Institute of Architects of Zimbabwe and the South African Council for the Architectural Profession since 2002. Practising since 2001, he leads the firm with a commitment to eco-friendly, innovative design.

Mr. David Nyasha Wakatama
Principal Architect & Founder

Metropolitan Architects (Pvt) Limited is headed by Mr David Nyasha Wakatama — a qualified and registered architect in both Zimbabwe and South Africa. He has been a member of the Institute of Architects of Zimbabwe and the South African Council for the Architectural Profession since 2002.

Inspired by a lifelong passion for architecture from childhood, David has been practising professionally since 2001. He holds a Diploma in Architecture from the University of Natal (Dip Arch Natal) and leads the firm with a commitment to eco-friendly, innovative, and client-centred design. He is assisted by A. Mbewe, a qualified architectural technologist who serves as project manager.
